New Signage & Brand for Mansfield Building Society

As some of you may be aware, Mansfield Building Society has gone through a rebrand. This was implemented throughout their marketing, including signage outside their branches across the region.

We have just finished helping them deliver that new brand throughout their Mansfield, Sutton, Kirkby and Chesterfield branches by replacing the old signage and graphics with new.

Local companies working together

The creative inspiration for the new brand is derived from the society’s head office location near Sherwood Forest as well as the area’s rich industrial heritage. The new logo features a combined forest and stag motif.

Over a period of a few months, we worked with them to plan what work was to be undertaken when so as to minimise distraction to staff and customers. The Mansfield branch was completed within a 3 week period, which involved working late into the night one evening to remove the old vinyl of the windows.

Safely replacing signage

At all the branches we have removed all the out-dated existing signage and replaced them with new outdoor signage with the fresh branding. On exterior walls built up lettering was used and fixed securely to give a modern feel. Window etching and graphics were also used as well as powder-coated aluminium folded sign trays.

Access towers were brought in and used where necessary to reach high signage as well as for cleaning in between removal and new signage.

Overall the project was very satisfying all round. Mansfield Building Society was great to work for and worked with us to make sure the transformation rolled out smoothly.

Returning the favour

It was also a pleasure for our MD Malcolm Judson, who, many years ago, received his first mortgage, for his very first house from Mansfield Building Society. So it was great to be able to return the favour and help them, as they had helped him.

You can see the new signage in Mansfield, Sutton, Kirkby and Chesterfield. Visit their branches page for locations.
